Fabric Storing System:
During storing, some procedures are followed -
#
Check the fabrics before off-loading from
truck/container & follow:
> Lock & Seal are okay or not.
> Open the door of truck/container.
> Start un-loading the goods.
# Storing them after counting the rolls/bales.
# Start doing inventory.
# After completion of inventory, cutting head of all
rolls for making shade band.
# Make blanket for wash fabric and shade card for
non-wash fabric.
# Make a report as per shade band.
# Make family as per shade.
# Storing fabric as per Dye lot.
# Keep Bin card on racks.
# Bin card entry as per Dye lot .
# Issue to cutting department for production.
Fabric Inspection System:
# Before starting inspection,
following should be ready -
> Detailed packing lists.
> Approved color card.
#
10% Random inspection is mandatory.
#
Display defective fabric pieces.
#
If fabric fails in 10% random inspection, should inspect
another 20% randomly.
#
Inspection is conducted as per Acceptable Quality Level
(AQL) 4 point system.
#
Defective roll be marked and kept in separate place.
Accessories Inspection Procedure:
#
Keeping Trim card for checking quality, color , size
etc.
#
Conduct inspection as per Acceptable Quality Level (AQL)
2.5 point system.
#
Keep Bin card on racks.
Cutting System :
For cutting the fabric, follow
process or rules as below -
#
All workers using mask in cutting room.
#
It's mandatory to use hand gloves and mask for cutter
men during cutting.
#
Give reminder to cutter men through the cutting
in-charge to be attentive to work or careful while
cutting.
#
Order/Style wise color card should be kept ready to
avoid cutting mistakes.
#
Elastane fabric to be kept open at least 24 hours and
time be recorded in a register.
#
Keep records in register/file
for :
> 100% CUT panel check report.
> Replacement parts report.
> All remnants kept with report.
#
For running shade, should follow block/line marker to
avoid shading within a garment.
#
No pin is used.
#
Spikes are only used when fabric is checked.
#
No cutting parts are kept on the floor.
Fusing & Heat Sealing:
# Before starts working, the workers
should follow & check -
> Remove machine cover.
> Clean the machine.
> Electricity power line.
> Electricity wire & line.
> Compressor line.
> Machine's time, temperature & pressure.
> Laboratory test report.
#
Work starts when machine is fully operational.
#
Without Laboratory test report, no fusing can be
started.
#
Calibration followed twice a day.
#
Bonding through and back check during fusing.
#
Strike through and back check during fusing.
#
Always keep machine belt clean.
Sewing Process :
Sewing is the main part in the sequence of bringing
forth /making a particular Production or style. So we
call it "fundamental" procedures for which the rules
below to be followed strictly.
# Before starts working,
the operator should check & follow -
> Remove machine cover.
> Clean the machine.
> Electricity power line.
> Electricity wire & line.
> Needle, Bobbin case etc.
> Machines tension and stitch count.
> Is the machine fully operational?
> Report to the concern personnel for any problem.
> Should use mask especially the over-lock operators.
# Should/must follow in sewing floors -
> Counter copy of approved sample at the end of line.
> Counter copy of approved Trims card at the end of line.
> Mock-up for any critical operation if required .
> Correct pattern with Pattern Master's signature.
> Check measurement for every hour production covering all
sizes minimum 5pcs.
>
Every single operation should be checked by in-line
inspector.
> End line inspection must be conducted 100%.
> Defective garments are kept in a separate box marked
"defective garments" for easy identification and also
for necessary correction with keeping proper record.
> Any sewing problem should be corrected instantly on the
point/spot.
Finishing & Packing system :
Most of the products are checked in its final
process "Finishing & Packing". It also keeps products
safe from the moisture on the packing system. So we also
follow some rules in the Finishing and Packing section -
#
Should/must keep following in packing area.
#
Approved sample properly stored to keep standard
integrity and visibility.
#
Approved Trims card.
#
Ironed garments should be handled properly & carefully
to avoid undesired creases.
#
After Iron, should check measurement.
#
Final get up should check carefully before packing.
#
All garments should pass through needle detector
especially the children's ones.
#
Defective garments to be kept properly for easy
identification.
#
Price Tags/Hang Tags be segregated properly size/color
wise before attaching with garment.
#
Keep proper record for packing accuracy audit.
#
Pre-Final or Internal audit conducted based on
AQL 2.5.

"pre-production meeting" for every particular
style/order before going for cutting participated by all
responsible in-charges (Cutting, Sewing, Finishing,
Packing) where we discuss every single point from fabric
to packing and make it clear or understand for every
responsible personnel regarding every single process so
that high quality merchandise are produced.
